The maps aren’t very big and the story forces you to explore them, so you’re going to pick up a majority of the collectibles without having to go out of your way. There are 205 collectibles, which sounds like a lot, but they are acquired quickly. There is free roam after you’ve completed the story and some Trophies won’t become available until after you finished the game. Otherwise, you’ll just have to replay the game. If you have a back up save file, it’s possible to retry them. None of the Trophies are missable, but there are two that can glitch on you. This is a very quick, easy and enjoyable Platinum Trophy to earn. That definitely happened here in Concrete Genie, it's a short but fun and rewarding game. It only took me two sessions (5 to 6 hours) to beat it. Platinum doesn't add too much since the cleanup can be done very quickly. I will say though that €30 is pretty damn steep pricepoint. When I first played something like INSIDE I didn't regret buying it day one, but that was only €20 iirc. This is a harder sell imo, even though it's very charming. If the painting mechanic speaks to you, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I never was a fan of Tearaway (Unfolded version) and think Concrete Genie is a better stab at the 'creating your environment' concept, since there's a better narrative push behind it. Thing is, if you're a creative person and you get lost in making paintings, you can add hours to that playtime. You can make the environments as colourful or as crazy as you want, that's pretty cool. Ultimately though, it's not something I can spend too much time on. At the end of the day the gameplay/design is more important for me.Genie Moments Sketches: these are not marked on the map and there are 20 of them. To complete each Moment, you need to find white-painted marks on wall, call your Genies, and draw the specific Designs (aka Landscape Pages) that the Genies are requesting. It is important to do of these at the end of the game and do none as you play through the story. For two reasons: first, some Moments require Designs from the purple tab and these are given to you during the last phases of the game. Second, if you unlock some Moments as you play through the story, your unlock order will be different from this guide’s, thereby making it harder to make out what you miss after the story. Landscape Pages: these are your Designs, 12 for each tab, 48 in total. While some of these are automatically awarded to you as you play through the story, the others are found in the wild. The way we’ve listed these below goes according to the background color of each tab in the Designs tab in the Options menu. It should also be noted that all the Landscape Pages from the purple tab will be automatically given to you as part of the story (in the Finale chapter) and are not included in this guide since they’re automatically unmissable. The trophy for finding all of these pages unlocks when Ash retrieves his Sketchbook. Newspapers: these are not marked on the map and there are 6 of them. Whenever you get in their proximity, you can see a prompt appear. Sketchbook Pages: these are not marked on the map and there are 126. Sketchbook Pages are Designs (48), Genies (18) and Features (60). Most Sketchbook Pages are hidden in trash cans and found on rooftops. Some Sketchbooks Pages fly around within a defined area and you have to chase them in order to catch them, others sit still. Some Sketchbook Pages are needed to proceed and you will probably even walk into them (such as in Chapter 4 – The Waterways), but if you’re missing a specific Design (aka Landscape Pages), check your surroundings. The way we’ve listed these below goes according to the background color of each tab in the Features tab in the Options menu.įinding all Collectibles unlocks the following trophies & achievements: You can collect whatever you’ve got left after the story.
